This is a photo series made for my school project.

 I wanted to explore the influence of darkness/emptiness. The figure in the series exists in their own small, isolated world, from which they try to find a way out. The scratches and rustling on the image symbolize human imperfection and the confused thoughts that occasionally occupy everyone’s mind. The subtle color nuances visible at the beginning, middle, and end of the series symbolize hope. In the context of my photo series, hope represents a way out of the small, lonely world and the tangled thoughts. The color palette of the series gives it a depressive and solitary aesthetic. This is a staged photograph and has been artistically processed.
